Luxurious mother of pearl is the very latest exclusive mosaic now available from leading specialists House of Mosaics.
Available in two magnificently iridescent finishes of classic white and dark brown, each 2.5 cm square tesserae is produced from 100% natural mother of pearl sourced from sustainable shells, a bi-product of the food industry. A resin bond then protects the finished tesserae.
Mother of pearl has a long and fabulous history of being used for architectural and decorative purposes, and these mosaics are no different.
They can be used on interior and exterior walls, countertops, doors and ceilings. And incorporating them into architectural features such as columns or furniture can easily be accomplished, as instead of using a traditional marble or tile base each is backed by a fiberglass mesh, making for a lightweight and simple installation.

Priced at £258 per sq metre samples are available on request and are displayed at House of Mosaics London or Midland’s showroom.
